Ramanujan was Hindu and lived in poverty for the majority of his life. He was vegan or had specific dietary restrictions on meat consumption and had a firm belief in his religious practices, specifically, the goddess Namagiri Thayar. According to Ramanujan, she appeared to him in visions, proposing mathematical formulas that he would then have to verify. There is a documentary about his life, hardships, and gifts from his healer, home family, creative genius. His meat beliefs ultimately killed him during his time in Europe as they denied him food and provisions for survival. He was discriminated in all aspects of his being. He worked his way to a Fellow and even debated God with the greatest mathematicians of his time.

He lived with positive thoughts and visions. This left behind a legacy of mathematical journals that are still being studied almost 100 years later. His greatness of positive thoughts and beliefs will live on forever.

Times have changed but the story of hate is increasing worldwide. While his story is astronomically perfect in God’s eyes, I wish we have known him longer and he have been saved. The attacks on people are not necessary. This causes chaos for those who enjoy the humble, simple, grateful pleasures of creation. A man like Ramanujan understood life through math more than a person who chose to hate him. His positive beat their negative. This generational problem on earth is taking a toll on those who have healed. It also affects those who are healing. It impacts those finding their greatness after all the hatred has been imposed upon them.

If peace, happiness, love, faith is within, our outward should share in growth with friends, strangers, or peers. The excuse of a pandemic to behave poorly; or political, religions, spiritual, or geographic differences is an excuse. There is no one to fight. If people are still fighting, there is an issue within. There will be someone to leave behind or to reject or place a boundary. That is life. Do no harm.

It is expensive to be a healer and to have healing hands, hearts, souls, and minds. If you don’t understand the expense of being a healer, you might not know love. The journey of a healer, the love for a disabled person, or the magical gifts some carry from within should be embraced. I hope the judgment of those who do not know the expense of human life will be met with education of vast belief systems that exemplify peace, love, and happiness or by the laws of the universe.

It is time for new thinking and acceptance. Ramanujan was misunderstood until he found his rightful place of fellows. His abuse and lack of provisions prevented the world from learning his highest achievements. He had not yet met the highest high from his gifts and knowledge. He lived in positivism with his faith, love, worship, commitment, and personal journey to solve.

It does not take much to satisfy basic needs for a man like Ramanujan. I will always remember Ramanujan’s story.
