Loren Reeves is an Information Technology professional with over 20 years of experience in the field and is exceptional at her calling. Her life changed when she turned 30 years of age and was dual diagnosed with both rare physical and mental disorders to which the physicians believed to be a genetic predisposition that was triggered from events of traumas, stressors, autoimmune responses, and generational family challenges. The journey has been of both light and shadow. To know darkness is to know the light; to know the light is to know darkness. She has been on a personal journey to uncover her shadow self with the support of an amazing group of women that know it takes a village to manage the complexities of physical and mental illness. Her support group has given her the encouragement to stay focused on a constructive and consistent healing journey; often times understanding that the outcomes may not always be fairy tales and flowers.

There have been many hardships in life that have transformed Loren’s prospective. With every experience in the shadows, she becomes more humbled by the lessons that are continuously learned in life. She considers self-improvement as a constant. There are ebbs and flows to the process and is delighted to share in her personal growth journey and past experiences to transform how we heal together, grow together, and create a transparent dialogue about mental health.
