Let’s face it, healing is one day at a time. Some things in life are unexpected and it gets messy and full of emotions. As we progress in life, we learn to make peace with all the men or women we once were. We embrace and love all parts of ourselves as we change. Forgive and bless those parts of yourself as they are the bones you live in now. The things that happened to you in your past are not your fault. We must give ourselves self-compassion because trauma, pain, and suffering are a part of the human experience. Therapies exist to expand your emotional growth as it empowers you to make positive changes in your life based on what difficult experiences has taught you. You build a new future one day at a time and healing at a steady pace.

Create a safe place for your healing journey. We have core needs of safety and stability which includes protection and belonging. With the social climate it makes it difficult to find your tribe of people that love you and provide empathy. Keep searching while caring for your physical, emotional, and mental needs.
