Ma’at refers to ancient Egyptian laws, philosophy or concepts which promote order, balance, truth, reciprocity, harmony, righteousness, morality and justice. Ma’at is personified as Ma’at, the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of Truth, Justice and Order. She is usually depicted as a winged woman. The Goddess is often shown with an ostrich feather on her head, or with a white ostrich feather. The feather of Ma’at was an important part of the weighing of the heart of the soul ceremony in the afterlife. This is where the heart of the soul of the dead person was weighed in the scales of justice against the feather.1

Many spiritual people believe in a God of the Universe, God of the Metaverse, a Higher Power, a Divine energy, or a Creator. Spirituality recognizes a feeling or belief of something greater than yourself and that the greater whole that we are a part of is divine in nature. Some believe we are all divine in the image of this higher power or energy. Thats not hard to come to conclusion if everything and anything is created by a higher power; it is in all atoms of your body.

Some believe we have a purpose and have responsibilities to the Universe or with our existence or purpose. There are many viewpoints of people’s personal journey of what spirituality means to them. It does not remove the fact that humans have a consciousness that is connected to our physical, mental, and spiritual bodies and that we all have a soul. Some believe the spiritual body connects the human soul to divine experiences in nature and can manifest through our souls experiences in life.

In general, spiritual beliefs includes setting positive intentions and affirmations that you can speak out loud to yourself. These are heard by every atom in the universe (or directly to the creator). Spirituality brings inspiration, motivations, and aspirations. The “Ideals of Ma’at” is recommended to repeat three times a day out loud to improve your self-confidence, your outlook on life, and you will become more confident by removing fear, doubt, and worry.
